Live score card of 2nd Test Match between South Africa and Australia at Durban!

The moral of the visiting team has reached its peak and now there is no backing up for the visiting Aussie team. Firstly the put up a huge total on the board with the help of the new comer Huges batting with a heart of a lion. And then the disciplined bowlers of Australia dismissed the South African team only for 138 runs with J.P. Duminy scoring the bulk of the runs. All the Aussie bowlers bowled a good line and length maintaining a good speed and that showed them the success.

Resuming the over night score of 130, the whole South African team was bundled out for merely 138 runs. The over batsman J.P. Duminy was unbeaten for 73 when the whole side was packed within 138 runs. This was serious wound for the South Africans. Previously once against India and once against Pakistan, they were bundled out like this with 9 players out for single digit run. Other than Duminy, the second highest scorer was the extra(23)and then Jack Kallis. Among the bowlers, Jhonson bowled brilliantly with 3/37 and also the new face MacDonald with 3/25. Siddle finished up the remaining talis in just 2 consecutive balls. He will be going for the hat-trick ball in the second innings.

In reply, the visitors were not so confident. They lost Simon Katich very early. The angling ball from Kallis found the tumbling hands of Paul Harris at gully area. At the lunch break the visitors were 305 runs ahead with a first innings lead of 214. But after the lunch, Ricky Ponting started playing his shots and they were placed at a very comfortable with 185/1 in the second innings. Literally, the south Africans are played of the game. They have to do something heroic to save this match.
