Young guns of India are eyeing for the victory tomorrow to clinch the series:
India is on the verge of winning the first ever series in New Zealand. They were humorously defeated in their last visit during 2002-03. But this time a bunch of fresh blood along with the exxperience of the likes of Sachin and Zaheer Khan has come down to New Zealnd to take them down on their home soil. And now they are just another win away from winning the much awaited series. The flags of India might fly high tomorrow when India will register a win in New Zealand. With 2-0 up in the series and with so many batsmen coming back to form is a good sight for the Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. And he would like to capitalize in this situation and win the series for India.
The match tomorrow is scheduled at the Dabbon park, Hamilton. This is the most lucky ground for the home team. They have lost only one game out of 11 played here. The only game they lost were in 2001 and since then lot of things have changed in New Zealand cricket. The last time the home team played here, Jesse Ryder and Brendon McCullum put up a 160 plus stand for the first wicket at a rate of 9 per over. So Indian team has to be careful for the openers particularly. And they have to be defencive for the batsmen like Ross Taylor, Martin Guptill too. Indian bolwling by far has been at its best. As was said before about the pitches in New Zealand, they are till now far cry. May be the Indian bowling line up has forced them to prepare the pitch like this.
Indian batting is going strong. All the batsmen are looking in good nick. Unfortunately Gautam Gambhir has missed out in last three game but he would like to put up a good show tomorrow. Sachin Tendulkar will be missing the fourth match due to injury which is said to be not serious. But he will be given rest as a precaution for the upcoming test series. Then it might be a good time test some new faces too. Overall, Indians have stepped up on the gas paddle to clinch the series here at New Zealand.
